Tarikshir : The Awakening written by Khayaal Patel is a book which has mythology,historical fiction,adventure and also the supernatural

The cover is different and attractive.I enjoy reading Historical Fiction and Mythology so this book was interesting for me

The book is set in the princely state of Devangarh in the time of British India. The book follows the story of Rudra who has been made the new king after the sudden death of his father,This book then follows the scenario of Rudra handling his new responsibilities and investigating his father’s death.

The plot is well paced and executed. The writing style is brilliant,it keeps you engrossed in the book. The language used is simple and makes it easier to read.

The narration is very clear and just goes with the flow,it gives a good base to the plot.

The character development is adequate and defines the protagonist really well.

The book was enjoyable because it handled mythology,historical fiction and adventure well. The touch of mythology really stands out and makes it even more interesting

You should read this book if you are looking for something fresh to read.
